Our Highlanders were on FIRE this past weekend! We welcomed a RECORD 455 kids to our home tournament and we put on a show in the friendly confines of Scottie Gymnasium. We entered our own record of 80 grapplers into the competition. When the dust had settled, GWC crowned Fifteen individual CHAMPIONS and 57 Top 4 finishers!
After a long day on the mats, the kids were back at it on Sunday morning in Malta at the “Cover the Court” event. The Highlanders proved to be even more dominant in rival territory. We entered a event-best 67 wrestlers on Sunday and came away with an amazing 21 Individual CHAMPIONS and 53 Top 4 finishers! WOW. What a great couple of days for these future Scotties. The Coaches could not be any prouder of this great group of kids. Here are the complete individual results from both events below:
