Highlander “fun” during a break in action at the Brodie Gorder Iron Eagle

Sidney, MT 2/29/2020 – The Glasgow Highlanders took part in the Brodie Gorder Memorial Iron Eagle this past weekend in Sidney. The Iron Eagle has turned into one of the most difficult tournaments in the region over the last few years. With teams from all over Montana and the Dakotas converging on Sidney for a day of Team Dual action and a day of action-packed individual competition. GWC continued their strong season by finishing the Elementary Team Dual Tournament on Friday in 8th Place out of 18 teams. On Saturday, the team put 47 grapplers on the mats and they did NOT disappoint. Highlighted by SIX individual Champions and EIGHTEEN Top 3 place winners, the Highlanders finished in 3rd place out 28 teams with 151 points. Just one point out of taking runner-up honors as a team.
